PEARRL Training Network

The PEARRL network enables ESRs to acquire scientific expertise and skills for facilitating earlier access to medicines by providing specialist training in innovative bio-enabling formulation technology, utilisation of biopharmaceutical tools to evaluate these formulations and to predict their behaviour in vivo and by exposing ESRs to the regulatory drug approval processes.
The three primary areas for training will encompass: (1) science and technology, (2) industry and regulatory, and (3) transferability and public engagement and will be delivered within PEARRL via a combination of local and network wide training activities. Core skills training will be provided locally, with the network-wide training designed to complement local training through advanced courses with contributions by all three sectors. Training in transferable skills is viewed as an integral element of PEARRL, aimed at instilling a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in all ESRs.
Local Training
The local programmes provide all ESRs with a set of core skills and competencies that will be augmented by network-wide training offered by PEARRL.
Network-wide TrainingNetwork-wide training in PEARRL is designed to complement and enhance rather than duplicate local training.
The PEARRL Online Training Portal is only available to members. Over the course of the PEARRL project specialised post-graduate training modules will be provided via this tool.
