The 2nd Annual meeting of the PEARRL network kicked off in Frankfurt with an open Regulatory Science symposium on ‘In silico and In vitro tools to support Regulatory applications’ on 18-19 June 2018. The Symposium was hosted by Johann Wolfgang Goethe University.

The 2nd Annual ‘PEARRLs of Wisdom Week will be held at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, Frankfurt, is just around the corner. The local organisers, Prof. Jennifer Dressman, Dr. Edmund Kostewicz and their team, have pulled out all the stops in planning for an exciting scientific and networking meeting. Up to 100 participants are expected for this 5-day event (18–22 June 2018) with 40 sessions dedicated to developing innovative drug formulation strategies and regulatory tools designed to expedite the development of emerging drug molecules into new licensed medicines. This year, there are two days of ‘Regulatory science’ symposia (18th and 19th June) which are open to external participants, the remaining days will concentrate more specifically on topics relevant for the progress updates and training associated with the PEARRL project:

The themes for the Open Symposia are ‘In silico and In vitro tools to support Regulatory applications’. As PEARRL is a European Training Network (ETN) which delivers a unique research and training programme for 15 Early Stage Researchers (ESR) a further highlight includes the Researcher Symposium (closed event).
